Any remembered the show " Man at forty" mediacorp drama which is airing its repeat telecast on channel 8 5.30pm now>
I think that drama is one of a kind, i watched it before n it just gives me the same kick. there, the story, edmund chen 40yrs old alrdy but still very kiddish, spend father money like water until his father willed all his fortune to this illegtimate son, chen hanwei, then everything twisted. Poor son become rich, rich son become poor. Then see edmund chen really damn poor thing, slp on streets den over time, he began to brace himself, everything learn from scratch, at age 40.
Kinda gives me to motivation to work hard too. Now, thats 1 good show. -

ya, they all laojiao, their acting very real, portray the character very good.
i wish they come up more of unique dramas, not always the same recipe type. -
n 1 more thing to add, the main theme also very nice la k. by jeff wang jian fu.
They have a singing talent right in front of them yet they still hold some darn superstar to find some half baked singer. piang, see le also heartache for them. -

one of the nicest show tat tcs produced. really nice blend of cast n of cos, can i noe the actres tat acted xiao ai?
do u notice, edmund chen (chen long wei), chen han wei(chen long hui) n chen shu cheng(grandpa chen) all acted in it and in the show they are a family and aso same surname "chen" ? -

the storyline is very inspiring. it stated how a rich guy became poor n made a great comeback.
i feel one thing good bout longwei is even last time he was a rich guy, he was charitable to his friends like zoe tay n andrew seow. dat's why when he was down, they r repaying back to help him.
