i can't believe this.....
how come they suddendly change channel 8 Shaolin warrior monk show, which is always broadcasted on Mon - Fri, 7 PM.........to a crazy date like every Sat, 10:30 PM???!!!!
what are they thinking? get people watch the show and as they like, change the timing?!
damn, if you wanna change, do it after the show has ended, not in the middle of the casting. it's like you going to cinema to watch Night of the Museum 2 and the cinema suddendly switch that off and show you Seven Swords.
KNN!!!!!!!!!!!!
this isn't the 1st time.....other shows like Zhang Fei's Zhong Yi Da Ge Da and other variety shows......the time always changes every few months or so.....now my family can't even keep track of the time.
u watch a show for 6 weeks, then one day, boom! becomes other show.
Mediacorp should give more respect and thought to it's viewers.
the least these guys could do to show they've some integrity and decency is to at least explain to the public their decision.
don't give me CRAP like "this is a management issue", or "we're looking into this".
those are BS given by politicians we all know so well.........you're a commercial company so give us the real deal.
talk about transparency!!!!!!!!
and that 300+ Taiwanese episode, Love, which is shown every Sat and Sun.....is so drawn-out and po-ma....that one should be changed to 10:30 PM, and showcast Shaolin warrior monk show instead!!!!! (every Sat and Sun, at 7:00 PM).
in the past when there were 2 stations, mediacorp was so nice to viewers, and now that Channel-U got swallowed up, well, Mediacorp becomes lord.
screw this all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
read my title again and swallow that up, mudderfookers!!!!!!!!!!!!
Under control of the ruling party so more or less works the same way lor.
I think they should give sufficient notice to viewers on the change and have sufficient announcement shown on screen to tell viewers about it.
That wad i also shocked when Shaolin Warrior show at Saturday ....
Becoz of one TVB Drama zzz
That's why I never watch TV nowadays. If I had my own home, I'll not pay the TV and radio licence, coz I won't have either of the 2 items at home. I'll even carry a hp without an FM reciever.
Wow, they how can anyhow change? At least should have 3 day advertising in advance to let people know? I think if i watch the show then miss a couple of espiode because of this, i be not happy also lor.
So what drama is replacing Shaolin on that timeslot?

The TVB drama, a well received one by those popular artistes.
May b mediacorpse find the rating for the shaolin show no good that is why they are moving it to later time slot.
Mediacorpse is controlled by the govt mah. So they do everything to their own advantage.
Do you think they would really consider the viewers before they change the timing?
thanks for the replies, but it's just unbelievable.....somemore, i think the warrior monk show only got several more episodes to go right?
from what i know, the 300-episode Taiwanese melodrama Love has low ratings since not a lot of people (esp young ones and kids) watch it.
if they really want the shaolin show to end fast to make way for the TVB thing, a better strategy is to showcast the shaolin show on Sun (or Sat, or both) as well, at 7 PM - 8 PM, and play the Taiwanese drama from 8 PM to 10 PM.
then, when the shaolin show ends, these guys can resume the Love casting time from 7 PM - 10 PM again.
yes, we viewers like TVB dramas, but not when it suddendly cuts in while we're halfway through another show.
tt shaolin show oso nobardie watch one mah
so it's ok lah
Not the first time this has happened. But then since the show less than about 4% of singapore population watched the drama, it does not really bothers me that much.

Apparently, that 4% has TS in its stats. Maybe the other 3.89999% just happen to left the TV on at that hour.

To Me i like at 7pm channel 8 show BUT since they show the China-singapore drama i Tune in to THE PRICE IS RIGHT its 100 times better.. i rather watch pplz win give and watch those model then watching old monk jumping around
Actually given the huge PRC population in singapore, I also find it quite strange they would change a chinese series like this from prime time to odd hours.
