by simply eating less, at one time i lost 13kg in 5 weeks..
but epic levels of gluttony was too much and i gained back 8kg in the next 9 months...
now losing it slowly again.. 1kg per month by simply eating less..
just go figure out your calorie intake.. the "magic bullet" types of weight loss are mostly trying to trick your body into doing something which it should not be doing..
just eat less

Sometimes people forced themselves to starve and ended up eating more..
I am one example...
So I more or less have decided not to bother losing it.... cos I always gain weight after losing... Lose 2kg Gain 4kg back...
Skip meals... den one meal cannot tahan gorge myself with food...
Eat those meal replacements... but ended up eating 3 meals... same... end up adding 5kg in....
I never exercise in life though...
If you really want to lose weight, the first step is to have self disclipine. You can engage the best fitness instructor, have the best products, have the best diet plan, have the best food, but if you cannot follow through.... then nothing will works for you.

even without the calorie counting and stuff, as long as you're eating no more than 3 normal sized portioned meals each day with no snacks (sugar and crap) in between, its impossible to be a fat fuck.

You should never skip a meal. In fact, to lose weight effectively, you should be eating about 5-6 small meals a day. Like another poster said, it's about burning more calories than you're taking in. You should be incorporating weight or other resistence training into your exercise, as it actually increases the amount of fat you burn. If all you do is cardio and run yourself into the ground, with no weight training, you'll burn muscle before you burn the fat.
I just read in Muscle & Fitness magazine about a university study that compared runners who ran at least 30-minutes a day, at level 5 (on a scale of physical exertion of 1-10), and another group of runners who ran 10 minutes on level 5, took a ten minute break, ran another 10 minutes on level 5, and did it again for another round. They both lost the same amount of calories. What does that mean? Your cardio doesn't have to be you running forever. Just break it up into quick 10-minute spurts where you give it your all, then take a break.

There are so many methods of slimming. One needs to find out which is suitable and go ahead with it. Of course while in the midst of it do abstain from food and drinks that will cause weight gain.
Sometimes, poor blood circulation will also cause weight gain.

I frequent buffets, i eat ice creams, I love going to Starbucks... and I still not gain back the weight I lost... eat less doesn't mean you will lose weight, and eat more also doesn't mean you will gain weight.
Food is not equal to calories, calories is not equal to nutrition.

who are you trying to kid? Most here have been saying eat less and you are trying to divert attention by criticising some thing you dreamed up?
But let's assume you are sane. Let us assume some one here did say that you can lose weight by eating only fish or eating only veggies. Your examples still lack the semblance of rational thought. Whales and elephants may be heavy, but are they overweight?
Actually it would have been easy to disprove the above 2 methods your dreamt up, but maybe it is beyond you?
