You're saying someone strike toto, so if you buy toto, you'll strike too... You can't use something that has an extremely rare possibility of happening to be an example lah, not fair rite, it doesn't paint an accurate picture.
I think education is an investment, it is a decent investment but say if you spent $200k all your life on studies and in the end you worked like shit and earned back only $180k, then you're losing money, so education is not good. If you earned back $800k, then who can say the money you spent on education is not good?
So if some people say education is good, they have their reasons, if some people say education is bad, they are thinking differently, but both of them might be correct in their own way.
