it seems that Newcastle is having quite an easy time in the second tier of English football. Perhaps they could be promoted back to EPL as champions?
uhmmm too early to say?
its always towards the end of the season or halfway thru,
those "lao jiao" clubs will start to gain their "form"..
by then, maybe, the Magpies will start to feel some pressure & self-destruct?
we shall see..
Newcastle and West Brom joint top of CCC. Boro stuck in mid-table and Forest look like they could make the playoff if they maintain their form.
even if newcastle gets promoted, nothing to be happy of.
they do not belong there and getting out of that place is something expected of from their fans.
NUFC lead CCC by 8 points!
looks very likely that WBA and NUFC will make a return to premiership but they were not really that great in the BPL anyway. maybe awhile ago when NUFC was under the care of bobby robson. they had a stint in the Champions League.
its true.
things change very quickly in the championship.

Same thing applies in League I as well.
I thought this was a NUFC forum? How come change to Hull City??

NUFC went down and HCFC escaped narrowly. My grandfatehr was from the same region as HCFC, so I "inherited" the club.
that means championship sides cannot make it?
Hope Newcastle like the current Birmingham, fight for the Europa League spot next season.
For Birmingham, relegated (Steve Bruce era) -> promoted -> relegated (Mc.Leish era) -> promoted once again -> Now (1 point behind Liverpool with 1 match on hand)
Same will go to Newcastle:
relegated -> promoting -> fighting for Europa League spot (This is what I hope)
Hope NUFC will stay for long after getting promotion this year. Last year's relegation was a blip, and should stay that way.
last season relegation was the fault of the owner and management. why? first wh the heck appoint dennis wise for, to undermine kevin keegan? keegan fedup and quitted in a huff. they go appoint ex wimbledon manager kinnear, who did ok when he was in charge before he suffered a heart attack. then who was appointed next? the inexperienced alan shearer to lead newcastle out of relegation for only 8 games? 3 managers in 1 season is crazy isnt it.
newcastle have dropped to second but with a game in hand.

Well, if they win, they go top again.
i hope they wont lose form towards the end.
i think only jonas guti, the two taylors and kevin nolan are bpl quality in newcastle, still need a lot of good signings for magpies to survive in bpl
Lolx seem like Boro buy Scott Mac donald may help them boost ????
Mi Wan to see Newcastles,West Brom and Forest in for EPL

That is very likely. However, don't discount the possibility of a Welsh side in top flight. Cardiff and Swansea are in playoff zone.
newcastle drew and went top again.
it seems forest are losing momentum with 2 consecutive 0-1 defeats.
NUFC lead CCC with 5 points and have a game in hand. Way to go, Magpies!
if they gain promotion back to BPL, I hope they stay there for a very long time.
i hope leeds get promotion to league championship and newcastle back to the premiership.

Leeds are one of the big boys of League I right now along with Charlton and Norwich.
