  I think our senses of humor are a lot different. I don't know if that's a difference between countries or just between individuals. When I'm in shoutbox I have difficulty knowing when someone is joking...and vice-versa. I think the language difference causes some of that.
  
  I've found most of the people that I talk to at sgForums quite nice and I've added a few Singaporean contacts on MSN.
  
  Kuali Baba/Nick is a friend of mine(we've never met) from some other forums and he told me and some others about sgF. He thought I might like it and he was right.

  Thanks for sharing your experience. I tend to think that the sense of humour is different due to individual differences. But there are some jokes/topics which are very localised, as in ppl in the M'sia/Sg region would understand very well e.g. your post about "Marriage shd be about love and not education" in Chit Chat - that is clearly a cultural difference, although the mindsets are changing.
