  Hello,
  
  Does anyone know where I can find temple layouts, floor plans, or blueprints? I am primarily interested in Chinese Buddhist temples, however, taoist or hindu might also be of interest. Many thanks.

  What layout u mean, for Chinese buddhist the temples followed the Traditonal chinese, while the indian, of course the other way round. For chinese layout i think if im not wrong there is a certan practice the involve the direction of

  Example - you say the "tradtional chinese"....there are several layouts in this category, and different architecture styles as well - Ok Fine - All I am looking for is a floorplan, blueprint, layout, etc. for just one - or any...
  
  I am working on a project (for enjoyment) in creation of 3-D graphics, and I would like to build the interior & exterior of a temple. So I need a starting point.

  floor plan are not easily available , u have to seek permission to get it
  due to security reason of temple , many wont give u
  
  u can make a trip down to some major temple like shuang lin temple
  the simple floor plan is given on the brochure

  Ah...Okay, that makes sense...I never thought of that...lol..I've been to shuanglin si a bunch of times n now I have another reason to go back not too far tho - I am in tp. thanks for the tip!
