SINGAPORE : The number of contestants in the MediaCorp Radio-Subaru Challenge is now down to just one man and one woman.
23-year-old sales executive Ian Lee and 29-year-old administrative officer Cheang Pui San outlasted 236 others to be the last two remaining after more than 71 hours.
34-year-old graphic designer Johnny Chua was disqualified only minutes earlier when he lifted his hand at 11.20am on Tuesday after having held on for 70 hrs and 20 minutes.
The 4th person dropped out at 8.10am Tuesday.
It's now been three sleepless nights and the heat and the rain have been taking their toll on the contestants.
Organisers are expecting the winner by the afternoon.
The last contestant, with his or her palm glued to the car, will walk away with a $90,000 Subaru Impreza WRX.

Sales executive wins MediaCorp Radio-Subaru Challenge
SINGAPORE : A 23-year-old sales executive, Ian Lee, has won the MediaCorp Radio-Subaru Challenge, outlasting 237 other contestants to be the only person left standing after nearly 75 hours.
He wins the top prize of a S$90,000 Subaru Impreza WRX.
His closest competitor, 29-year-old administrative officer Cheang Pui San, was disqualified when she lifted her hand just before 4 pm.
