Woman found dead on 2nd floor parapet of HDB block
SINGAPORE: A 33-year old Indian woman was found dead on the 2nd floor parapet of Block 55, Lengkok Bahru late Sunday night.
It's believed she fell from the 15th floor of the block.
Police were alerted after neighbours said they heard a commotion - before the woman was found dead - on the parapet above the coffee shop at the block.
It's not clear at the moment whether she was pushed but the police are holding a man, believed to be a friend of the deceased, for questioning.
The woman's husband was found at the scene and was distraught.
He has not been detained by police.
Neighbours said the couple were happily married and seldom fought and had lived there for at least two years.
The deceased was wearing an orange dress and was barefooted.
