Fireworks to usher in Year of the Rooster in Chinatown's LNY

  SINGAPORE : A massive firecracker and fireworks display will usher in the Year of the Rooster during Lunar New Year celebrations in Chinatown.
  
  There will be a spectacular light-up and colourful decorations along streets in the vicinity.
  
  Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will officiate the celebrations on January 15.
  
  At a countdown party on February 8, MediaCorp artistes will entertain the crowds there.
  
  And at the stroke of midnight, more dazzling fireworks display will light up the night sky.
  
  Street stalls will also go up in Chinatown selling traditional and festive goodies. - CNA
