SINGAPORE : The March 2005 COE open bidding exercises have been rescheduled and shortened from three to two days.
The first exercise will be held from March 14 to 15, and the second exercise will be held from March 28 to 29.
The Land Transport Authority said during the February 2005 open bidding exercises, a few customers had reported that their bids submitted through the banks' Intranet channels during the last hour of bidding were rejected.
This was despite their bids being higher than the prevailing COE price.
Arising from this feedback, the LTA, Stratech Systems Ltd and the banks are closely investigating this matter.
As part of the investigation, a comprehensive range of tests on the system will be conducted.
To allow more time to run these tests, they have decided to reschedule the March 2005 open bidding exercises.
