SINGAPORE: A man was reported to the police for throwing porcelain plates down from his HDB flat at Block 96, Whampoa Drive.
Lim Leng Hwa, who is in his 50s, was arrested and charged in court on Saturday.
But the charge was for using criminal force on police officers.
Residents had called the police at around 7pm about the killer litter incident.
When officers showed up to investigate, they found broken porcelain plates on the ground floor of the block of flats.
Officers went up to Lim's house on the 6th floor.
But they were splashed with hot water when they questioned Lim about the killer litter. - CNA
