That they will get a husband who will be willing either to do house chore or get a maid if she can't do house work?
Seems like many teenage gals have this mindset... As many dun know how to cook, wash, iron, they expect the guy to do so... -
Or should the guys expect to know that their gf does not do house work and ends up watching TV, polish nails at night?

Nowadays, a maid is already part of the family.
Due to the high education level of the parents and the high living expenses (Condo, Club Membership, Car, Credit Cards), most of the families in Singapore are employing a maid.
Therefore, most of the gals and boys in Singapore are brought up with their maid in doing all the household chores.
So, as these boys and gals get married, they most probably be getting a maid as they dunno how to cook or do housework. (The fact is they are just plain lazy)
In this type of scenario, no gal or boy will expect the other party to do any housework or cooking.
The MAID will do it for them.
This is the price for Economic Prosperity and Human Laziness. -

i dunno wat teenage gals nowadays think but i believe eventually everyone's house will have a maid, so the gal and guy really no need to bother abt the other party going to do housework.
but for me, early 20s, i don't ever seeing my boyfriend doing housework in the future. EVER. i dun mind doing housework myself but if he's the cause of additional work, then... heehee........ i'll MAKE HIM help! haha!
gals expect help in the household chores i guess, since they are also working outside.... so in a sense, it's something like the "equal rights" thingy again.
there was a columnist who wrote abt how her galfrenz always had to end up going home earlier than planned (when they meet up) 'cos the husband dunno how to handle their own kid (eg: wat time to take medicine, wat the kid wants when he screams something, etc). in the end, it seems mothers do most of these things, so hey, household chores guys shld do some too... no harm in the gal asking that. if she wants full-time help (while she manicures away), she needs a maid, not a husband.
