SINGAPORE: An odd sight met motorists and pedestrians at Jalan Bukit Merah on Thursday morning.
At about 11am, thousands of pieces of paper were flying in the air and scattered all over sidewalks, drains and on the roads.
These papers were mainly government documents and ranged from bankruptcy declarations to HDB mortgages and CPF statement of accounts.
It is not clear how the papers got there but the National Environment Agency has cleaned up the place.
An eyewitness at the scene said, "There was a lot of people and it was quite bad, as if snow falling down from the skies, the whole road was flooded with documents." - CNA
