Man dies after being hit by MRT train at Buona Vista station

SINGAPORE : A man died after being hit by an MRT train at Buona Vista Station on Friday afternoon.
The victim, in his late 30s, is believed to have fallen onto the tracks at about 1pm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene half an hour later.
The incident caused a disruption of eastbound train services from Jurong East to Queenstown stations.
Buses were deployed to ferry passengers from Clementi to Queenstown stations.
About 7,900 passengers were affected by the 50-minute disruption. - NewsRadio 93.8 -
