Two girls from Singapore jump off moving Malaysian train nea

  KULAI : Two young girls from Singapore panicked and jumped off a Malaysian train through a window on Friday after they realised that they had missed their stop.
  
  Luckily for the two sisters, aged 8 and 10, the train was just pulling out of the Kulai station and the older girl only scraped her hands and knees while her sister escaped unhurt.
  
  Kulai police station head, Chief Insp Andam Sulim, said the incident occurred at about 10.30am.
  
  The girls were travelling alone from Singapore to Kulai to visit their relatives.
  
  "We believe that they overslept and panicked when they realised that they had missed the station, and jumped off through the window.
  
  "Luckily the train, from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, was just starting to move, otherwise they could have suffered serious injuries," he told Bernama.
  
  He said the girls were sent to the Kulai district hospital by the Malaysian railway staff. - CNA

  i believe they jumped off the door and not frm the windows as reported. As ani1 whu haf taken KTM before will noe tt all their carriages haf sealed windows but doors tt can be opened even when the train is doing 70km/h....ya..believe mi

  Ya...come to think of it, its realli quite amazing. In singapore, the gap between the platform and carriage pple oreidi complain veri big....and in m'sia, the door can open for smoking even when it is travelling 70kmh
