SINGAPORE : The Monetary Authority of Singapore has launched the 2005 Sterling Silver Proof Coin Set.
It features the conservation of national landscape as its theme.
Minted in 925 silver proof condition, the set consists of a 5-cent, 10-cent, 20-cent, 50-cent, $1 coins and a 12-sided scallop-edged $5 coin.
It will include a cupro-nickel ingot featuring the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, Pierce Reservoir and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
The sets, which will be limited to a mintage of only 10,000 worldwide, will be issued on April 16.
They will be sold at $128 each and will be available from the Singapore Mint.
