Shop and Save is owend by QAF Int'l.A Bruneian owned MNC if I'm not wrong...Hmm, we should have some Coles or Target stores here to provide stiffer competition to NTUC..maybe their Australian links will help us get cheaper dairy and meat products and fruit too..

The smaller shops have to band together to ride through tough times, definitely.

I have noticed that in recent years, NTUC has been getting proud... Look at their image, I mean their staff uniforms...
BUT, notice their staff uniform, wore not long, the colour faded
Also their prices has not been compeitive esp aft the coming of hypermarts -
