SINGAPORE : One in four Singaporean adults exercise regularly, according to a recent survey.
But it is those who do not that the Health Promotion Board wants to target for its new workout.
It looks tougher than the Great Singapore workout, but promises to give you the exercise you need if you do it three times a week.
"Fitness-At-Work" is a series of 20-minute sessions choreographed to suit people of different fitness levels.
And more than 1,000 people from four different companies turned up at Orchard Road to get their dose of exercise.
Leading the way is Indranee Rajah, MP for Tanjong Pagar GRC, who work outs three times a week despite clocking 14-hour days at work!
Ms Indranee said: "Most people will say, "okay next week I'm going to exercise", and they would throw themselves and then they get exhausted and they fizzle out. So the important thing is to do it little bits at a time and make it a part of a routine."
Fitness instructors will be there just next to Orchard MRT every Friday evening for the next two months. - CNA/de
