SINGAPORE : The trial of former flight stewardess Constance Chee, who is accused of throwing four-year old Sindee Neo down a block of flats, has been adjourned to Monday.
Day 11 of the trial started with Chee sobbing uncontrollably in court.
Earlier, Chee said she was not feeling well and the Judge wanted to adjourn the hearing to give her a few minutes to regain her composure. But Chee insisted she was alright.
Yet she broke down again when cross-examined by the prosecution, and hearing was suspended.
Chee was later sent to the Changi Prison Hospital.
When hearing resumed in the afternoon, the Judge announced that Chee had been given two days' medical leave.
