The Johor Police Chief, City Minister among the delegate to get Singaporeans back to JB to shop...
There has been a 1million Singaporean visits less compared to last year
They hope to achieve:
Assurance that JB is safe
Singaporeans are not targeted by theft and Customs Offical
*But having a proud MB dun help -

I suspect that their checkpoint computerised system is a farce, it was built during the height of tensions between singapore and malaysia to show us that they were more efficient. Can you imagine if you malaysian breezing thru your own malaysia checkpoint, 'just touch and go' nobody bother to search you or check you for any bombs, drugs or weapons.
So if they are not checking thats means we end up having to do all the checking to make sure no illegal stuff gets thru thats why we have such a huge backlog not because they more efficient. -

I think more Singaporeans go to KL now instead of JB because they feel safer.
I mean how can Singaporeans feel safe in JB when their Malaysian friends tell them they themselves don't feel safe in JB and prefer to shop in KL instead
Ok this might not apply to all but this is what my JB Malaysian friends tell me. -
The meeting is useless, JB side still insist the current situation is still considered safe
