$40000 spent on a naming exercise and Budget Terminal is the best they can come up with?
Remember where $280000 went to when the branding exercise was on for Marina Bay? Guess what they finally came up with? -

when you are leaving T2 toward the city, it will be on your left. you will notice that there is a left turn into the new terminal. Should be able to see it even at night.Originally posted by iveco:Where is the exact location? -

I believe the reason why they choose to call it BUDGET terminal is to make it obvious to visitors (especially first time vistor) that this is a BUDGET terminal and it is different from Changi main terminal, the best airport in the world.Originally posted by fudgester:'Budget Terminal....'

for those frequent traveller, you will agree with me that changi is the only airport in the world that is constantly spending money to upgrade its facilites. And I believe the reason is to make Changi a stop over heaven for long haul passengers, so as to encourage passenger to choose a stopover instead of by passing singapore on a non-stop 18 hours flight.
PS. was at T2 today, notice that OSIM have set up a free foot massage boot...cool rite?? let hope the do clean it everyday -

I did a search in Google and found this piece of article
There are not that many seats at the terminal either, especially in the passenger holding rooms. Each room can hold 180 people but has fewer than 20 chairs.
The rationale is that many budget airlines do not allocate seats, so passengers will end up standing in line anyway to ensure they can be the first to board. -
As far as I am bothered, the place should be cosy yet comfy...
I dun mind with lesser chairs as I am stand for an 45 mins bus ride! -

It does tells visitors that it's a budget terminal, but it does sound better than plain old 'Budget Terminal', doesn't it? -

I was quite surprise that someone actually wrote to the newspaper complaining that there is no aerobridge at budget terminal. Doesnt he knows that many airports in this world doesnt have one either. Senai, Siem Reap, Yangon, just to name a few. And if you are handicap, there is always ground assistant isnt it? -
