SINGAPORE : The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) will be raising its tuition fees by $10 from May.
It will apply to both new and existing students.
ITE said the fee increase was to meet costs at the institutes.
But it gave assurance that no student would be denied an education because of financial difficulties.
It said the government would continue to subsidise ITE education substantially.
On Wednesday, the polytechnics too announced the raising of tuition fees by $50 in the coming academic year. - CNA/de
