Armed robbery suspect found hanged in cell

SINGAPORE : The man charged in the Sun Plaza armed robbery case was found dead in his cell on Tuesday.
Sigh. Sad sad life. He just stole money. Wont receive death sentence. But still he commit suicide. Maybe he is having trouble or dilemma at home.
Chan Bing Chaw, 59, was found hanging in his cell with a T-shirt around his neck.
The T-shirt was secured to a ventilation grille on the wall above the cell door.
Chan, an inmate at Queenstown Remand Prison, was pronounced dead at 11.45am.
He was charged in February with attempting to shoot at a security guard at the Sun Plaza Shopping Mall.
He had earlier snatched S$4,000 from a cashier at a lottery outlet in Sun Plaza.
Chan had been in remand pending the court hearing.
Police have classified the case as unnatural death and are investigating. - CNA /ct
Punishing is one thing, but finding out WHY a person steals is another thing. We shld make the effort to find out why do criminals do bad stuffs? Some are out of desperation... sigh...

Maybe a lot of people use soap trap inside, he cannot tahan therefore commit suicide in jail.

Actually he doesn't need pity in the first case. He already plan everything, has an evil mind.
How does he get a gun in Singapore first? Which is like so hard to get one. His evil plots enables him to get a gun and go for robbery.
Yes, we doesn't really know what happened, but you spent like how much to buy a gun and only robbed 4k? Which is like well.
