  I kind of feel this is his last term as MP for PP already . By next election I guess it will be a clean sweep for P4P except for HG

  credit pap my ass! some of the ministers were not even voted by the pple due to walkover like the education ministers.

  There are lots of other people whom he threw in jail after making use of them （过河拆桥）, he is a scheming power monger lah.

  I am sure there are better people than him to take up the challenge if he wasn't around.

  If he wasn't wicked, he won't have done what he did to Devan Nair, Ong Teng Cheong, Jeyaratnam, Francis Seow, etc.......

  Hong Kong much closer to mainland China (greater threat of being subverted by communism than Singapore), it survive in a much better state than Singapore.

  Stop your school text book indoctrination of how great LKY is, it's pure nonsense, I agree that he did make contribution, but doesn't mean he is indispensable

  and we would be in a worse of state without him.

  Yes there might have been other better people back then... but end up it's him tat took the position, you can't rewind back to the 1960s alrdy
