SINGAPORE: Three Malay youths, aged 14 to 16, have been arrested.
Police believe they are involved in a few cases of robbery and snatch
theft committed in Ang Mo Kio since October last year.
Two of the cases involved residents being robbed of their cell phones.
In a statement, the police said investigations led them to one suspect, whom they arrested on Tuesday.
His two accomplices were arrested later that afternoon.
The police have advised members of the public to keep to well-lit
areas and avoid taking short-cuts through dark areas or back lanes. -
