Man found dead in luxury hotel room with stab wound

SINGAPORE: Hotel staff at Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore had a shock on Monday morning when they found a hotel guest lying dead in his room.
Police said they received the call from hotel staff at about 9.15am.
The deceased, a Japanese who is a Permanent Resident, was in his 60s, and had a stab wound to his chest.
Police have classified the case as an "unnatural death". — CNA/AFP/vm

A foreign tourist was found dead with a stab wound at a luxury hotel in Singapore on Monday, local police said.
Hotel staff discovered the body of an "Asian male in his 60s" in his bathroom at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore on Monday morning with "a stab wound on his chest", a police spokesman said.
The spokesman could not immediately verify the identity and nationality of the tourist but said it was being classified as an "unnatural death" -- a term often used in Singapore for possible murder cases.
Violent crimes against tourists are rare in Singapore, which drew more than 10 million tourists in 2008, more than double its population.AFP

In "Seppuku" another person stands over the suicide victim with a samurai sword and cuts off his head after he disembowels himself.
That was how one of my all-time favourite authors killed himself. His helper cut off his head after he disemboweled himself.
