It doesn't matter how the seller raise the price, or how the buyer refuse to buy anything at a certain price.
Eg.
Look at our current Maple financial market, everyone is earning mesos. No matter who buys or who sells, the mesos are still circulating inside MapleSea (Aquila/Bootes/Cass). The amount of mesos circulating inside MapleSea will keep on rising and that is the real reason for the inflation.
Now if the tax system is to be implemented, the tax system takes out a certain amount of mesos everytime we trade, and that will eventually control the amount of mesos circulating inside of MapleSea.
Short term, we can't hardly see any different( besides the price increase in items), but in the long run...the mesos will be under control because there is in(mesos from monsters) and there is out(taken out by tax system).
Yes you will raise price. Then all the buyers bleed blood and become poor. You didnt become any richer because the raised tax disappear into the world. Then you still have to buy something later on. Dont tell me you only sell and never buy anything so now its your turn to kena tax.
Thus, You may have raised the price of 60% glove attack from 4mil to 4.2mil but because everybody bleed blood, it will be very hard for 60% glove attack to sell at 5million anymore.

anyway, now tho i'm levellin lowly, i'm makin money at jnr cats (shunbian hunt my own attk scroll... idiots are sellin them at 800k for 1 60% bow attk... nbz.. that's like 4times lor) -
i can always increase the sell price to cover the tax .. make no different ..
ha ... plain usless ....
not as if those tax collected will be issue out as bonus at the end of the yr ... -

erm well it lowers the price cos there will be less meso overall. for example, for now, the pple keep getting richer and richer cos the amount of mesos in the server only increases which menas pple have more money to spare and thus bid higher prices. but if the is a drain on the total mesos, there will eventually be less mesos that can be used to purchase stuff and thus falling prices. somethign alogn that lines

i will learn to save -
