Rules on meat eating

  I understood the first and second conditions. Not so sure on the 3rd one. Is it against the rules if I ate the fish served at wedding dinners ? Maybe they cook live fish & I don't know about it? Am I suppose to assume/suspect that this was so and abstain from eating?

  It has never occured to me about this before. Since it never occured to me, I think it does not contradict with the third rule of "not suspecting it".
  
  All I know is that if I were to go to a restaurant I would avoid personally ordering live animals from their fish tanks/etc.

  That's why there's a problem if I were to go to a restaurant and order fish/crabs/etc, if I were to abide with the Buddhist precepts. I will try to avoid buying crabs, etc.
  
  But usually I'm not the one who gives the treat in the restaurant so I don't care. I just enjoy loh.
