[Mogharaja:]
Twice now, O Sakyan, I've asked you, but you, One with vision, haven't answered me. When asked the third time the celestial seer answers: so I have heard. This world, the next world, the Brahma world with its devas: I don't know how they're viewed by the glorious Gotama. So to the one who has seen to the far extreme, I've come with a question: How does one view the world so as not to be seen by Death's king?[The Buddha:]
View the world, Mogharaja, as empty — always mindful to have removed any view about self. This way one is above & beyond death. This is how one views the world so as not to be seen by Death's king.ã€禅ç†ã€‘1ã€看一切人都是好人,看一切事都是好事,看一切处都是好处,这æ‰是解脱。2ã€ä½ ä»€ä¹ˆæ—¶å€™éšç¼˜ï¼Œä»€ä¹ˆæ—¶å€™å°±é¡ºåˆ©ã€‚å½“ä½ æ— æ‰€æ±‚æ—¶ï¼Œæ‰ä¼šæ— æ‰€ä¸有。3ã€事情本身没有好和å,好å是我们自己的分别执ç€ã€‚4ã€ 真æ£éš缘了æ‰能顺利,真的放下了æ‰能得到。5ã€ æ‡‚å¾—äº†å› æžœï¼Œä¹Ÿå°±æŽŒæ¡äº†æ”¹å˜å‘½è¿的方法。
"Do not block your six senses; delight in them with joy and ease.
All that you take pleasure in will strengthen the awakened state.
With such a confidence, empowered by the regal state of natural mind,
The training now is simply this: lets your six senses be at ease and free." - Princess Parani
It's used as a support to remain in contemplation while in
movement. Just as the ganapuja stimulates all the senses so you can
incorporate/integrate them into contemplation. Movement(tactile
sensation) with the mudras, auditory sensation with the
bell/drum/mantras, taste with the food, smell with the incense, visual
with the mudras/visualizations.
Song of vajra dance and music is
the same type thing. Support to remain in contemplation. So you can
eventually remain in constant nonmeditation.
Just listen to the song of vajra in it's suchness. As white noise almost. Let it pass as a reflection and remain as the mirror.
The sound of traffic and people bustling in the streets is the song of vajra... Integrate integrate integrate

Those who reach the “world where lotus blossoms
Are stored” (the Pure Land)
Are immediately enlightened to “thusness.”
Exercising their “transcendent powers”
In the “forest of base desires”
They transform themselves into forms
Meaningful to those they wish to “save”
In the “garden of life and death” (the sentient world).

Tathagata is Nirvana;
And Nirvana is referred to
as the nature of Buddha.
An ordinary person
cannot be enlightened (in this world),
But can realize it
In the Land of Serene Sustenance.

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”

"When one thing is practiced & pursued, ignorance is abandoned, clear knowing arises, the conceit 'I am' is abandoned, latent tendencies are uprooted, fetters are abandoned. Which one thing? Mindfulness immersed in the body." -AN 1.230
SN 15.10:
The heap of bones one person leaves behind
With the passing of a single aeon
Would form a heap as high as a mountain:
So said the Great Sage.
This is declared to be as massive
As the tall Vepulla Mountain
Standing north of Vulture’s Peak
In the Magadhan mountain range.
But when one sees with correct wisdom
The truths of the noble ones—
Suffering and its origin,
The overcoming of suffering,
And the Noble Eightfold Path
That leads to suffering’s appeasement—
Then that person, having wandered on
For seven more times at most,
Makes an end to suffering
By destroying all the fetters.

Ayoniso-manasikara Sutta: Inappropriate Attention
translated from the Pali by
Thanissaro Bhikkhu
© 1999–2012
I have heard that on one occasion a certain monk was dwelling among the Kosalans in a forest thicket. Now at that time, he spent the day's abiding thinking evil, unskillful thoughts: i.e., thoughts of sensuality, thoughts of ill will, thoughts of doing harm.
Then the devata inhabiting the forest thicket, feeling sympathy for the monk, desiring his benefit, desiring to bring him to his senses, approached him and addressed him with this verse:
From inappropriate attention you're being chewed by your thoughts. Relinquishing what's inappropriate, contemplate appropriately. Keeping your mind on the Teacher, the Dhamma, the Sangha, your virtues, you will arrive at joy, rapture, pleasure without doubt. Then, saturated with joy, you will put an end to suffering & stress.
The monk, chastened by the devata, came to his senses.
The earth outside, the stones, mountains, rocks, plants, trees and forests do not truly exist.
The body inside does not truly exist.
This empty and luminous mind-nature also does not truly exist.
Although it does not truly exist, it cognizes everything.

The Five Aggregates are Illusory
(translation by Namdrol)
Because of dwelling in the equivalence of all phenomena with illusions, mirages, dreams, water moons, echoes and double vision, the Dharma free of affliction is perfectly realized.
-- rya-lalitavistara-nma-mahyna-sūtra
Further, sister, the five aggregates are illusory. They do not exist. There is no arising of erroneous action. It is conventionally designated through an error. Sister, awakening is like an illusion, it does not exist, it is conventionally designated through an error. Sister, though awakening is like an illusion, it does not exist, it is conventionally designated through an error. Therefore, sister, because illusions are the same, the aggregates are the same. Because the aggregates are the same, illusion is the same. Since illusion is the same, awakening is the same. Since awakening is the same, illusion is the same. Sister, therefore, I call you "awakened".

"Zen does not confuse spirituality with thinking about God while one is peeling potatoes.
Zen spirituality is just to peel the potatoes.”
~ Alan Watts
"Monks, suppose that this great earth were totally covered with water, and a man were to toss a yoke with a single hole there. A wind from the east would push it west, a wind from the west would push it east. A wind from the north would push it south, a wind from the south would push it north. And suppose a blind sea-turtle were there. It would come to the surface once every one hundred years. Now what do you think: would that blind sea-turtle, coming to the surface once every one hundred years, stick his neck into the yoke with a single hole?"
"It would be a sheer coincidence, lord, that the blind sea-turtle, coming to the surface once every one hundred years, would stick his neck into the yoke with a single hole."
"It's likewise a sheer coincidence that one obtains the human state. It's likewise a sheer coincidence that a Tathagata, worthy & rightly self-awakened, arises in the world. It's likewise a sheer coincidence that a doctrine & discipline expounded by a Tathagata appears in the world. Now, this human state has been obtained. A Tathagata, worthy & rightly self-awakened, has arisen in the world. A doctrine & discipline expounded by a Tathagata appears in the world.
"Therefore your duty is the contemplation, 'This is stress... This is the origination of stress... This is the cessation of stress.' Your duty is the contemplation, 'This is the path of practice leading to the cessation of stress.'"
--- Chiggala Sutta
Commentary to the Samdhinirmocana sutra says:
"Should you ask: 'If Tathagatas pass beyond sorrow in the element of nirvana without remainder of the aggregates, how then can they work to establish the wellfare of others until the end of cycylic existence?' Their ability to do this is due to the power of former aspirations: Tathagatas continually work for the benefit of sentient beings, although they display nirvana."
(Wisdom of Buddha Samdhinirmocana sutra, transl John Powers)
"Suvikrntivikrama, as such, due to the absence of arising and absence of cessation, the understanding of what originates and what subsides is the best understanding of subsiding. Therefore, it is called "the best understanding of origination and subsiding".
"Suvikranti, that so called best understanding is throughly known as "dependent origination". Any phenomena which depends on something is not a dependent phenomena in truth. This is best understood as "dependent origination".
"Suvikrntivikrama, the true condition of dependent origination is shown to be the absence of arising. Non-arising is dependent origination, and since non-origination is the same, therefore, it is called "dependent origination". How can there be cessation in that which does not arise? The absence of cessation is the absence of the cessation of the dependently originated. The absence of arising is called "dependent origination". Whatever is produced dependently is not produced. Whatever is produced was not produced in the past, nor in the future, and is not now. Whatever was not produced in the past, nor in the future, and not in the present, that does not cease. That non-cessation is called "knowledge of non-arising". Whoever knows non-arising, that is also not generated, and also its cessation is not directly perceived. Whever is not generated, that is not made to cease; if there is arising, there is also cessation. Whatever is not generated, that is known and seen as the cessation of all phenomena, and is the best understanding and direct perception. Therefore, it is called the "the direct perception of cessation".
