Yes, I think you are on the right track no matter what you practice.Originally posted by surfer188:Does that means there is a level of conscious during dreaming? Can make use of dreams to have much more understanding of ourself in true life?
I find that we in fact that living is like dreaming also.
What i am about to write is solely my opinion only, this is in no way respresentative of Buddhist teaching. I apologise here if i happen to offend anybody. But my guiding intuition compel me to write this to Surf188.Originally posted by surfer188:I have questions about dreams:
1 I remember all details of my dreams even words spoken inside dreams.
2 When I dream, I know I am dreaming & fully knows it's not true & it's a dream, I even laugh at myself inside my dream.
Does that means there is a level of conscious during dreaming? Can make use of dreams to have much more understanding of ourself in true life?

Yes I know about it. When I dream and my sleep isn't very deep, I am aware that I'm dreaming and I can control the dreams, I do it often.Originally posted by An Eternal Now:Some people can control their dreams 'consciously', that is called Lucid Dreaming.
Wow, that's not easy. Is your practice focused on lucid dreaming?Originally posted by thinkdifferent:Yes I know about it. When I dream and my sleep isn't very deep, I am aware that I'm dreaming and I can control the dreams, I do it often.
Is it Resonance?Originally posted by thinkdifferent:Now something interesting: With my closest person we shared same thoughts and same dreams. We really dreamt the same at night. I think I know why, but what do you people think about it?

Hi, then perhaps both of you have practised Dream Yoga or Buddhist teachings in your previous life. You should take refuge (if you haven't) and continue your practise! One day, you can go beyond 'controlling dreams' to pure awareness/no dreams.Originally posted by thinkdifferent:Yes I know about it. Hi Surfer188, that could be certain levels of lucid dreaming. But can you control/turn the dreams? It is particularly common among Vajrayana practitioners, those who practise Dream Yoga. I am aware that you have a Vajrayana teacher, perhaps you should talk to them about it.Originally posted by surfer188:I have questions about dreams:

Well, I don't know if I can call it a practice, I have been doing it since I found out I can do it.Originally posted by namelessness:Wow, that's not easy. Is your practice focused on lucid dreaming?
One person who can "see things" told me that we met in many past lives and because of karma we met also in this life. The dreams were not usual dreams, I think they were from our past lives. The other reason which is on my mind for sharing thoughts and dreams is, that we were so close, that our minds got connected, we knew in which mood the other one was, which thoughts and dreams... Like telepathy.Originally posted by An Eternal Now:As for sharing same thoughts, same dreams, perhaps you all had same experiences together before. Same experiences, therefore same 'playback'. But this is just a wild guess.

Taking refuge is a start... and is important to create a karmic link with the Three Treasures.Originally posted by maggot:I have not take refuge
