What To Do When Making Missing Person Reports?When you want to make a missing person report, the following information regarding the missing person should be provided to the Police:
Particulars (name, NRIC/passport no);
Description (physical attributes, attire);
Frequent haunts;
Date/time/place last seen;
Any other relevant information that would assist in Police investigations.
You should report without any delay once you have made all efforts to trace the missing person without success. When making the report, bring along your own NRIC or other identification means and if possible, a photograph of the missing person.
Should the missing person be found after the report is lodged, please inform the investigator-in-charge immediately. Police will inform you once the missing person is traced.
