Hi Eternal Now,Originally posted by An Eternal Now:Hi, what you made you think that demons caused her to turn into a spirit?
In Buddhism, there are detailed descriptions on 36 kinds of spirits. Some of these spirits are vengeful, wanting to take revenge on certain people (humans). Some of them want to take away their lives so that they can join them in the spirit realms (people with suicidal thoughts are more vulnerable to this). etc...
We do not term all such spirits as 'demons'.. Maras usually mean differently.
Hi, Buddhism classification of spirits are very very wide. No spirits are humans although some may retain some form of human look. Some of them have some good karma and even respected by some people.. those are called 'Gui-Shen' (ghost deities). Spirits has a lot of varieties just as animals have a lot of varieties. It is also possible for human beings to be reborn in any of those realms if one has much evil karma.Originally posted by longchen:Hi Eternal Now,
Thanks for the description.
Demons are not deceased humans. They are not humans, they are a different class of beings...
In this forum, i better watch what i write is within Buddhist belief or i may get slammed.Originally posted by maggot:And 1 more thing, people slained by dark energies will linger around in the world.
Their souls or spirits have reached a condition unsuitable to go to elsewhere![]()
At that time, I do not know what to do... I am not trained to do such work. What i did later on, what to request for light-beings to rescue these trapped beings. This is just a prayer... in a meditative state. I did not do any follow up after that.Originally posted by namelessness:Hi longchen,
Did you do anything to make them go away?
There are a lot ways to do that in Buddhism and other religions, I wonder how you new age guys do it?
Oh, I see. I guessed that you must have done something. And I think it worked. If I am not wrong, I think Tibetan Buddhism has similar approach with new age too. I mean visualization techniques. My master almost became a Lama when he was young. He was well trained in Tibetan Buddhism. He once taught one of our dharma brother to visualize a light beam column shining down from the Buddha onto his mother in order to heal her long-standing disease. So I think the principle is the same.Originally posted by longchen:At that time, I do not know what to do... I am not trained to do such work. Some of the lightworkers actually do such work... call soul retreiving/rescuing. They will alter their consciousness to communicate and try to persuade the stuck consciousness/ghost. Something a light-being will be around to guide the ghost towards the Light.
From what i know, there are massive soul-retreiving going on around the planet right now. There is a huge project to clean-up the darker energies on this planet.
