Another msg to xuren: when I say suttas, I refer to Pali canon, which is Theravada. When I mention 'sutra', i mean Mahayana. In fact all Pali Canon suttas exist in the Mahayana canon also. Just FYI

I also went some Buddhist libraries in Geylang, that was some years ago, dunno whether one of them was that one. I suspect it is. That time the dharma centre is not at that place yet. I just follow my mom. I don't go many Buddhist monasteries or libraries, but sometimes I walk to the Thai Palelai Temple bcos its very near my house, just for a visit or listen to their talk. Seldom gone there these days though.
But nowadays, I mostly read my master's book, those free for distribution on the shelves. I got so many audio cds piled up in my room that I have to give them away... now I got more books than CDs. I suggest anyone who has free for distribution dharma materials, pls, do lend/give it to others. I also read other master's teachings, but mostly online only.
It's good that ministers support such a Buddhist project to open up Buddhist libaries! May more people get to know the dharma. -
