ah cek, can u enlighten me? I see all those transgender people and crossdressers on the streets.. Does it mean that there is a high possibilities they did something wrong in their previous life too?Originally posted by Ah Cek:these the laws of cause & effect. u heard of 'san shi ying guo jing' - the 3 lives of cause & effect? this script spelt out all deeds you have done in either previous or this life would affect your coming life. very enlightening. go take 1 free copy from most temples.
crossdressers n transgenders in their past few lives were the opposite gender of what they are born now, which is why they feel that they should be the other gender.Originally posted by B_ored:ah cek, can u enlighten me? hi jie, hope i am not offending anyone here.. i'm just trying to learn more about them from the buddhism perspective..Originally posted by HENG@:btw a philanderer is more likely to go to hell to suffer for his bad karma than to be reincarnated.
jie? i thot im your mei?Originally posted by B_ored:hi jie, hope i am not offending anyone here.. i'm just trying to learn more about them from the buddhism perspective..
If what u said i right? Why did the almighty one wana punish them in this life by according them a different gender from what they should be?
haha.. yes mei. Am asking cos i recall coming across some buddhism teachings that stated such karma for womanisers. People also said girls are girls in this life cos they did something bad in their previous lives. That's why they have to suffer PMS, pain of giving birth, weaker than men, etc.. Is that true?Originally posted by HENG@:jie? i thot im your mei?
anyways buddhism believe that they will go to hell and suffer 1st. by the time they reincarnate they will have cleared off a lot of their bad karma
i dun think they will become the opposite gender. reincarnated gender is random i think. reincarnating as the opposite gender has nothing to do with whether u're a womanizer or not. some transgenders are very fortunate in that their families friends n community are very supportive, while some suffer. being a TG or XD alone has nothing to do with whether one was a womanizer in their past life, i reckon.
I don't think so. the ability to give life is sacrosanct. should not be seen as a suffering. its sexism at work to say women are women because in their past lives they did bad things.Originally posted by B_ored:haha.. yes mei. Some karma takes effect this life... others take effect in future lives.Originally posted by B_ored:In buddhism, is there such things as bad karma will happen to a guy if in this life he is a philanderer? Heard me friends saying that in his next life he will become a she and lead a life as a wHore?
Pls enlighten.

Agreed. It is consider is sexual misconduct. If even, you see and have bad thought, is thought is already imprint in your mind stream. Bad, bad.Originally posted by An Eternal Now:Some karma takes effect this life... others take effect in future lives.
And since such things are considered Sexual Misconduct, he might have to fall into the lower realms to suffer. To even be reborned as a Human, a person must keep the 5 precepts...
1) Do not kill. 2) Do not steal. 3) Do not lie/deceive. 4) Do not have sexual misconducts. 5) Do not take intoxicants like drugs or alcohol that leads to carelessness.
hmmm, okie u know alot about Buddhism , good ,but do work hard on some of the area u mentionOriginally posted by chanmalichan:Agreed. It is consider is sexual misconduct. If even, you see and have bad thought, is thought is already imprint in your mind stream. Bad, bad.
What you will become will very much depend on what is the last thought before you close your eyes and leave is world. Therefore, the last thought is very very very important.
Example, if 'I' my dying on my bed, I think of those bad things that I have done this life, the imprint is bad. Remember thought of imprint. 'I' might leave this world with alot of worries or double as the mind is not clear.
During the sublime state of 49 days before 'my' next birth, 'I' shall know what state and realm 'I' will appear as. Told by Ven. Thubten Chodron.
If in the event that the thought was some good deeds that have being created this life, then the imprint will be good one, thus leaving this world happy. Your rebirth will be good.
It could be true, that someone with the last thought on his/her action of sexual misconduct (bad imprint) before he/she goes, may become a sex slave or abuse, next life. Remember is the last thought.
Therefore, accumulate good thought and actions, so that are last thought is good imprint.
Metta, Amitahba Lord Buddha.
It is not what 'we' know, it is how 'we' relate to such practices. In buddhism working hard is unless, never force 'ourself'. (tension of string - effort not factors)Originally posted by bohiruci:hmmm, okie u know alot about Buddhism , good ,but do work hard on some of the area u mention![]()
