Chanced upon this site.
Not written by a Buddhist, I believed. But the things mentioned are all self-realisation and experience.

Agree.Originally posted by concerned_man:I think it is dangerous to be emotional about faith. Because most of the time, the use of emotions, ultimately will result in something negative - Especially using the emotion of fear.
For me is really plain simple. I follow what Ajahn Brahm says "Bend the faith to fit the facts than to bend the facts to fit the faith". I personally have encounter people who have realise for themselves and by themselves about this.
This article offer what the author has came to realise for himself and by himself.

I have not, but was interested. Anyone?
The movie that has been astounding audiences in theaters around the world is now available on a high-quality, feature-packed DVD.
In this provocative, critically acclaimed documentary, you will discover:
The early founders of Christianity seem wholly unaware of the idea of a human Jesus
The Jesus of the Gospels bears a striking resemblance to other ancient heroes and the figureheads of pagan savior cults
Contemporary Christians are largely ignorant of the origins of their religion
Fundamentalism is as strong today as it ever has been, with an alarming 44% of Americans believing Jesus will return to earth in their lifetimes
And God simply isn't there

yeah, i too come across, quite some time ago. it's it 'mystic' christian?Originally posted by concerned_man:I would like to watch it. But I am not sure whether is it available in SG.
But I think the definition of GOD is unique for every individual. I've came across Christians who have a different interpretation of GOD. And the GOD is inside them in their hearts with no physical form - very interesting view.
Their definition is more like the concept of Karma, but putting in different wordings.

In contrast to this notion of a personal God some modern theologians have interpreted the term "God" as representing some kind of abstract principle of good (or "ground of being). This view was first developed in the ancient Indian Upanishads where God is equated with an abstract principle (Brahman). The ancient Indian philosophers could entertain such a view because they also had a theory of karma, which really does away with the need for a personal God. Buddhists too have a theory of karma, which is different from that of the Hindus, and which even more unequivocally dispenses with the need for a Deity. The use of the term "God' to denote an abstract reality by monotheistic theologians who have no theory of karma is difficult to justify; one suspects that this is merely a device to explain away the contradictions that arise from the notion of a personal God. In fact the actual practice of theistic religion proceeds as if God is a real person of some kind or other.Originally posted by concerned_man:I am not too sure whether they are 'mystic' Christians. But it is highly probably that we share the same set of beliefs, using different labels. For them it is God, for Buddhist it is Karma.

He who is led by fear, and does good in order to escape evil, is not led by reason.
So if I don't believe you exist, then you don't exist?Originally posted by livebyfaith:it really depends on whether do u believe.
