Buddhism have what it takes to be a world religion ,with its essence of finding the root problem of humankind ,a light of the world to shine others clearing the darkness of ignorance .
Regarding Humanistic Buddhism, although I am not too familiar with Ven Hsing Yun's teachings, but I generally agree with the idea. Because basically buddhism should be applied in our lives. I also agree with the idea of 'bringing pure land to earth'. In fact I think there are much similarities with my master's approach but I am not too sure. Ven Tai Xu emphasized 'Human Vehicle' as expedient means for sentient beings of current age.
