Six related to the BuddhaÃs hair--/\
His hair is very soft - because he knows and understands every dharma detail completely.
His hair smells fragrant like a flower - because he presents many flowers as offerings to the three jewels.
He has many thick hairs on his head - because the Buddha has ended the three types of desire (desire for food, desire for sleep, desire for love) and he has cut the root of doubt.
His hair color is deep blue like a jewel - because the Buddha has the power to interdict the greedy actions of sentient beings, and teach them not to be greedy.
His hair is neat and tidy - because he never commits acts motivated by the five
His hair is sleek - because he never speaks negatively and never uses vulgarity.
When the Buddha cut his hair for the first time, the uncut portions snapped into 'snail-shell' curls and he never had to cut his hair again.Originally posted by marcteng:his hair kinda curled up isn't it?

Also people think that by fasting, or wash oneself in the ganges river, will one be holy or sins/bad kamma be cleansed. Do you really think so?

to add on, there are people who think that by exalting some supernatural being everytime with their actions and speech but not with their mind, heaven is within their reach
Well, they did not hear or receive the dhamma in this lifetime, but someday they will, either in present life or next life and so on.
Most religions either expound their one god creator or polyglot, ie many gods and deliverance / emancipation is to accept the god to his kingdom / heaven.
Its refreshing to see that Buddhism is unlike that, which is like a fresh of breath air in this time and age. Althought it is said that it is easy to comprehend / practise the dhamma, but in fact its not.
How many can safely say they are not afflicted by greed, lust and ill-will?
