That was a long long time ago.. at that time I didn't have the habit of chanting. When I was younger. My dharma teacher says it's easier for young people to see them because their 'yang qi' not enough.Originally posted by An Eternal Now:I saw a hand reaching out to me that was not mine. Not a human.
I think your teacher is influenced by chinese yin and yang philosophy lar.Originally posted by An Eternal Now:That was a long long time ago.. at that time I didn't have the habit of chanting. It is completely true. Maybe 'qi' is not really the correct word - Sinweiy says Buddhism talks about 'brightness', which I agree. My Shi fu usually says 'brightness', but my dharma teacher also sometimes say 'yin/yang qi'. When you chant, naturally there will be brightness.Originally posted by marcteng:I think your teacher is influenced by chinese yin and yang philosophy lar.
