yeah i dun get it. afterall the unhappiness and dissow laurence82 caused among forumites, i'm surprised there are too many ignorance pple around to support his actions? maybe he did alot of good karma in the past. i believe buddhists are forgiving pple... maybe it's laurence82 who is one who really must reflected on his actions, instead of pm-ing pple to open threads for him to cover his mistakes and sins.

pls be mindful not to support his actions or bias toward him if he tried to tell pple off in this forum, his actions often invite displead. one thing i fear dat guy might be an atheism who goes around dissowing religions. just look at EH's fate now and you will see the problems they going thru. -

I asked for support, and my friends willingly come forward to support me, testifying to my character, standing up for me.
This matter more to me than people trying to put me down the whole day. Count all your blessings, but not all your darkest time in life.
It is also a proof, some may forever deny, sceptical, trash it
I requested for a testimonial, and got more than what i bargain for when AEN come straight to the point - 'you have done nothing wrong'. Here and in support of Lazerlordz words.
This goes out to people who insisted that I have made trouble in Buddhism forum and elsewhere.
There are tonnes of people who insisted they are chummy with many people, but I got more what I had hope for when so many responded willingly to my request. Let these threads forever be carved into history as a proof of my friendships, instead of the enmity people wish to paint me in.
And AEN, i told you beforehand that there might be trolls coming in to ridicule, to debate. I say, let them be. Let their ugliness unfold. Pls do not debate with them, for hate has no limit. -

why are you assuming things again of how many good friends you have in sgf to support u? do u really think u will feel good that they support your wrongs? they might be doing so out of other reasons.
why are u assuming there are trolls around before looking at the mirror yourself of your misdoings?
i suggest you need to cultivate yourself by reading more sutra and mind less business of others.
anyway i shall stop here since i feel as a buddhist, i shall not cause problem in AEH's forums. -

I do read his posts at times in EH, not always, but so far I didnt find his posts quite disparaging to Christianity

As most of you should know, EH is a Christian forum. Most of the opinions we state here are from the Christian context. There will be things that we say here that may offend some people. But I appeal to all fellow believers to exercise discernment to the things you post here. I ask that seek wisdom before you speak out all your thoughts.
EH will continue to be a place for discussing the Christian faith. It will still be a place where we will make know our identity in Christ. We will strive to be a place where we confess our faith bravely. But we will and have to exercise the need to be sensitive to other religions/race.
Brey and Laurence, there will be no end to this if we do not take a step back.
Laurence, you have knack in taking one issue, blow it up, turn it personal and continue poking it. And sometimes, it is brought to other forums, in particular your forum. You are always on the prowl to spot mistakes and find fault in it. You know it is a public forum, there will be things you disagree. If you disagree, you disagree. Full stop. And yes, if you disagree with my points, I will not defend further.
Brey, as a moderator, we need to wear two hats. One as a member of the forum, another a moderator of the forum. It has to be distinct. I agree that our faith must be defended unabashedly. But sometimes we need learn to hold our tongue.

I wouldn't be too sure of that if I were you. Christians look at the world through an entirely different set of values. My question for, well, everyone here is this. While there are things that might be offensive to the Christians, what might be the things that will be disparaging to Buddhism?
And this question can apply from any faith to any faith. Meaning, what are the things Buddhists practise that might be disparaging to Muslims, or from Hindus to Sikhs etc etc
These are the issues we all have to look at. My issue is, what really can contribute to world peace to members of all faith? -

However to be fair, there are some pretty decent Christians out there. It is only unfortunate that the more evangelical ones are much more vocal than the 'decent' ones.
Murdering their fellow Christians? That is news to me. To the best of my knowledge, that kind of thing only happened during medieval times but not in recent times. My personal opinion is that Christians can somewhat be a grave discomfort in the posterior, but I don't think they are the murderous type (in recent times that is). BTW, who is Cathars? -
