Thus began the Chan or Zen ,when Buddha Sakyamuni was at a dharma assembly ,everyone was expecting Buddha to preach .Instead Buddha hold a flower in his hand .All the disciples and followers was puzzled .Only Maha Kasyapa understand by smiling .
Words cannot describe the state of the Buddha inner mind of Enlightenment ,though it is used as a tool .
