A place to meditate

I hope there is a place for quiet meditation, dosen't have to be highly furnished, but spacious and clean, and simple, like a mosque, but there's no praying, only soft chanting or meditation.
There are individual rooms, the rooms are totally empty and one needs to register to book in, and no more than 1 person are permitted to enter at same time.
There's a main hall for meditation and everyone is forbidden to talk, and only seat down and meditate.
I am afraid if there's such place in Singapore, I don't think I will be alive at that time, cus I can't find a good temple or whatever quiet place to meditate at all, everywhere you go the air is heavily polluted with human ego.. -

Does one has to believe in karma to be affected by karma?

I am very sorry, but Falungong is NOT recognised in our forum. Pls see: Schools/Traditions/Sects NOT Recognised In Our Forum
And I dont think Falungong recognises itself to be Buddhism either

The goal of a Qi Gong practitioner is to create a "Qi" inside their body to cool off their body in the dissipation of heat
Li Hong Zhi Qi Gong method have not been correct becos he himself never know how to subdue the side effect of this "Qi" in the body

Qi Gong is about creating a environment for the body to attain longevity

Have you ever hear me say I am a Falun Gong practitioner? No right? Further more what you say between Falungong and Buddhism is already wrong without sructinising and research in such fields.
People are hypocrites nowadays, people tend to think they are worthy to be called, 'discples' of 'Gods or Buddha', in fact they are great sinners.
Its just that they can't see their sins because of their great ego, modern man think that everything they do, even wrong things, are right, in fact, in the eyes of Buddha, Buddha won't even want to want to look at them. If a disciple of Jesus or Buddha, from olden time, were to live in society today, how much sin he sees man has!The mentality of man all lies in great overwhelming delusions.
I won't talk about terminology, in fact, Buddhism was originaly sanskrit, do you know how to read sanskrit characters? If you don't then why do you want to judge 'difference in terminology between Falungong and Buddhism'? Do you have sufficient knowledge of India and pre-Buddhist history to discussthis sufficiently?
From the time Buddha was around to the modern time Buddhism emerged in China, how many editions of translations were being made? Up to post cultural revolution of China, with chinese culture being altered, how less will modern people be able to understand Buddhism?
Actually no point for people to fight war or revolt or debate, when time comes, outbreak of bird flu, natural disasters, flood, death, will annilhilate all the sinners, though these sinners have much self pride in what they believe when they are alive, even if what they believe are non-righteous. Many people are already dying today, scientists already predict Maya's belief of end of world in 2012, and many others. Why debate whether your belief is bad or mine is good, When the day arrives, the truth will be seen clearly. -

Secondly, you had not even refute their 'accusations' point for point, but gone right into talking about hypocrites.
Are you sure you have practise also what you preach? -
WHy care whether people are Falungong learners, Christians, Mormons, Bahai faith or whatever? Why label them as though they are not a species of human being as you are?
WHat kind of compassionate attitude is this? Have you learnt what is compassion? Do you even know what is Buddha's loving kindness?
Your attitude is wrong, I am not trying to arouse your emotions of sensitive issue here, If you think this way... have you seen how Muslims want to kill those who oppose them, because they blindly believe that they are right?
I already say, by Buddha, don't make distinction as to whether you are wrong or I am right, because the truth will always be judged by the truth. DO you put loving compassion above your emotion and greed and pride?

Falungong is actually not a religion, it is just a Qigong practice and even more powerful than Qigong, because they don't practise qi but practise gong.
Gong means divine energy, qi means energy. Qi is everywhere, and only practised by mortals.
Buddhas, great Buddhist masters who live in mountains, some hundred or more years old, they all practise gong, not qi. People who practise qi will still age and die, like normal mortals. I am not saying FG (Falungong) learners won't die, what I am saying is they practise something more powerful than qigong.
People with super power, such as able to extinguish candle metres away, have coarse gong developed from refined qi, this requires years of practice. But FG straightway practice gong, but superpowers are all locked as using superpowers is doing bad deeds in society.
Qi indeed can move from one place to another, and appears in living beings, even in rocks, but many great saints, including taoist immortals don't possess qi, because qi is actually useless, these people have gong, or divine energy. With divine energy, divine powers, some innate, some given by masters, are strengthened. That's is why imortals, saints and sages have dvine and righteous powers.
But there are also demons, animals, spirits and others who possess superpower, I won't go into detail already...that's all.

Tell people to practise that for long hours and don't do work?
If your leader is that good why run away from China? Surely he can survived the death sentence 
I seen the techniques but most of it is based on "zi fa dong gong" which is "self induced qi gong" which is dangerous because chances of becoming mentally insane is way too high
Once "zi fa dong gong" is up the person cannot control it's body motions hence if the body decides to run across the road or jump off the building he cannot stop humself from doing so

Does that mean we have prejudices against non-Buddhist? Nope. It simply means that there is clear distinct differences with their teachings, and this forum is the wrong place for them to post their own things here.
