Take it cool... just a simple view of mine...
it is essential and equally important to study and understand impermanence. birth, old age, sickness and death - stages - life - everything is impermanent. it is truth, the reality, nature just as that. when you see such impermanence in beings and things around, what would you do? what values does one see in life when one do not acknowledge impermanence? what spiritual mastery in cultivation does one acquire when one do not understand the basic fundamental meaning of impermanent nature of all things?
in one of the 4 supportive meditation practices that supports and gradually leads to vipassana meditation(insight meditation) is "meditation on death" (death is equal to impermanence).
this is also taught by the Buddha, so likewise we contemplate on impermanence, study and understand it.
