  Bodhicitta Mass Prayer Session for IndonesiaÂ’s Earthquake Victims
  
  The recent quake in Indonesia has claimed more than 5,000 lives, injured 20,000 and made 200,000 homeless so far.
  
  What can an individual like you or I do?
  
  Let us come together to offer our prayers and dedicate the merits to all victims. Our collective aspiration and compassionate energies will help the deceased and those suffering.
  
  For Buddhists, prayer expresses an aspiration to develop and generate new energy or purifying influence and share it with all beings. Likewise, prayer inspires our hearts towards wisdom and compassion for others and ourselves. It allows us to turn our hearts and minds to the beneficial, rousing our thoughts and actions towards Awakening.
