Everytime I see video clips like these...I considered many times whether I should become a vegetarian...

there are some of us fighting for animal based industries to adopt controlled atmosphere killing. There is a currently ongoing PETA boycott of KFC worldwide. http://www.kfccruelty.com/index.asp
Many of us recognise that going vegetarian might be not be the easiest thing to do, but despite that, we do care for animals and we are also concerned about animal rights, or at least, their right to humane treatment before their time is up.
We also know it is not enough, but we are only human and we try out best. -
Not only they start to suffer when they go into the slaughtering queue. But the way they grow up in a caged jail, sterilized to grow more meat as well. Want me to describe more? no need lah.
I will always go this site and look at the video, so to remind me to avoid eating meat as much as possible. -

what KFC corp is doing at their slaughterhouse has nothing to do with KFC here. we neednt boycott the whole KFC group just to make then adopt CAK (whatever it stands for)

Turning into vegetarian need not be an overnight effort. One could start to increase the consumption of carbohydrates and fibres, so that stomach will get full easily, and hence lesser desire for meat products. As a vegatarian, I can vouch for the benefits of becoming one, became healthier is one. kind of verify what Buddha's said that human did 'evolve' from heavenly beings (which dislike the smell of meat said Ven Hui Lui).

People have no compassion for animals too
Few weeks ago, my friend found some abandoned rabbits at a void deck. Local breed, probably thats why people abandoned them, coz they are not worth as much as the pedigree breed.
Called the Rabbit Society of Singapore and SPCA. As they are heavily understaffed, they cant care for their rabbits, and may have to put them to sleep.
So my friend is currently nursing these rabbits back to health, as they suffered bites probably from cats at the void decks. -
yea honestly even if we're meat eaters, can't we at least show some compassion to the animals we exploit for our own enjoyment? humans...

Nobody would argue that animals don't feel pain, fear or enjoyment. This gives them the basic right to be treated in ways that respect their own personal value, just as humans are. It is a scientifically proven fact that vegetarians live longer and enjoy better health than carnivores. If everybody went vegetarian, not only would people in general live longer and in better health, but it would also be much easier to feed the world. This is because, on average, it takes about 10 kilogram's of vegetation to produce 1 kilogramme of meat.
