Requirements to be born in western pure land

I used to have this question some time ago.
In order for one to be born in western pure land, following are the requirements:
1) Take refuge of 3 triple gems
2) Vow to reborn in pureland
3) Keep 5 precepts, filial, ten good conducts, bodhicitta
4) Have certain level of meditation practise
The 1st 2 are rather easy to achieve, but the 3rd and 4th one are relatively difficult. How does one know if he can reborn in the pureland.
If one fail to "migrate" to pureland, will his karma resulted from his diligent practise towards pureland automatically allocate a "cultivation friendly" place for him.
I don't want to go to heaven, I may use up all my merits there. I want to go to a place that is suitable to continue cultivation for example, human realm or tushita heaven.
The late master yinshun encouraged his disciple to vow to go to tushita heaven bcoz of the lower entry barrier and most importantly, it is a heaven that one can listen to dharma spoken by maitreya bodhisatva, who is also the next to be buddha.
Western pureland is still better, but we should have contingency plan, isn't it? -

For most of us, it would be easier to seek rebirth in Western Pure Land.
Since Amitabha's vows include that which allows sentient being to enter his pure land. -
IMHO. Actually, the most difficult part is 1.
If we really understand and achieve 1. we achieve all. They are one.
Although tushita heaven is nearer (worldly sense). My understanding is that The entry barrier is much higher compared to Amitabha Pure Land.
In fact, Amitabha Pure Land is comparatively easier to go. As claimed by the Sutra, reciting Amitabha's Name is the same as reciting all Buddhas' from all directions and all dimensions.

first, they should attend dutifully to their parents, honor the work of teachers
and elders, with a compassionate mind refrain from killing, and cultivate the
ten virtuous acts; second, they should receive and uphold the Three Refuges,

third, they should awaken the mind that aspires for Enlightenment, believe
deeply in the principle of cause and effect, read and recite the Mahayana
teachings, and encourage those who practice the way. These three acts are

Western Paradise is already the easiest to go compared to other Pureland
for Maitreya Tusheeta Heaven Inner Section , one needs a foundation of Meditation and Samadhi
for Medicine Buddha ,one must be able to have "yuan" with Medicine Buddha

Buddha Sakyamuni said even the person who commit the 5 grave offense and 10 evil offense can still goes there ,with the exception of ppl who slander the Holy Buddhadharma, will go to the lowest grade of Nine grade of Lotus in Western Paradise -
Tusheeta heaven is still heaven with all the beautiful devas there
If one does not have good concentration and precepts ,one will start to be tempted by the beauty of devas and be deluded into as heavenly beings and eventually goes back to samsara
Ven Master Yin Shun is following his teacher tradition to seek rebirth in Tusheeta in order to follow Buddha Maitreya back to Saha world after 56 Billion and 7 thousand million years -

So where do the person go after death?

If you really have practise well and fulfilled the requirements (the musts and the shoulds), of coz you will reborn in western pureland. I will feel happy for you too.
Chanting amitabha alone will not give you the admission ticket.
It does benefit us, but if you want it to really guarantee a seat for you, the chanting must be done without wondering thoughts. Meaning no evil thought as well as good thought.
Some people can attain samadhi during chanting, they didn't study a lot of buddhism books, but with the samadhi chanting, he has cleared a lot of demerits and fulfill the criteria to go to western pureland.
Nowadays people like to take shortcut, they go and buy the small chanting device and turn it on 24hrs everyday, hoping it to do chanting on their behalf. I think the chanting device will go to pure land first before them.
Anyway, joke aside. I am sure if going to pure land is so easy, some of us wouldn't be here anymore, right? -
I wished to be reborn back here
There are still poor souls that needed help...so I would be selfish to leave for pureland and leave the poor souls here suffering without any assistance...

If you go to pureland and come back again, you are an enlightened bodhisatva with great meta and wisdomalready.
Isn't it that a bodhisatva will save more people and at a more efficient way.
Have you ever want to help some pathetic innocent victims or do some good deeds yet not able to do it because lack of resource, power or wisdom.
If you want to help them, you must cultivate diligently. -

Ananda, a disciple of Buddha asked Buddha if He could show everyone, where is His Pureland . Buddha pressed His toe on the ground and the dimension of PL, same as Western PL, golden flooring, crystal surrounding, very beautify surrounding, was right in front of them. ThatÂ’s to say, when you are sitting together with Buddha, Buddha reside in Pureland, while we reside in samsara, concreat floor, dirty surrounding.
till we purify our mind, the Land/surrounding will naturally be Pure!
