I found this very interesting
Bu shi you xin bu shi wu xin... this is "Wu Shuo Zhu Er Sheng Qi Xin" 
I dont know how to read all the words though.. perhaps someone can explain the entire thing for us? 
A very majestic dharma protector bodhisattva... I wonder what is his name.. can't remember. The name is written there but the flash light is too strong.. perhaps someone can tell me who this bodhisattva is.
I saw two truly huge Mu Yus in the monastery (btw what is Mu Yu called in English?) Mu Yu are symbolic instruments used in pujas, chantings, etc... there is a story behind it. Mu Yu symbolise ignorance. So basically it is to hit the ignorance...
Ah I like this place... the room of 500 Arhats Very interesting, and we played a game there as well... more details tomorrow. -

just a curious question, can anyone errm... maybe post a threat or something to name who are the dharma protectors? well besides knowing bodhisattvas & buddhas, these other great beings do deserve some recognition and gratitude for protecting the tipple gem. their efforts, cultivation & practices are just as equally respected and venerated.

Ok.. the game we played is roughly like this.. first we choose the arhat we like most, then we count our age (i.e 16), then plus two (=18 ), then note which arhat is that.. then you have some special affinity with the arhat, then this person will show you your 'fate' (not very buddhism but just for sharing) based on which arhat you have ended up with. I didn't bother to find out my 'fate' though..

We went to visit Leshan Buddha as well The one you often see in the movies, TV shows, etc. -

Doesn't mean meditation will automatically change your behaviors completely...
Although it can stabilise and calm your mind so the mind doesn't jump here and there and get stuck in content. Which may be expressed in behaviors as well. -

The lyrics and songs are there, but you need to run on Internet Explorer, Firefox can't play the song.
However I think some of the lyrics are inaccurate or wrong... for example the lyrics for the second song, "Jue Xing" is like totally different but anyway nice song.. The lyrics are written by my Taiwanese teacher, Missionary Chen Ming An. -

I always like the soothing quality of Buddhist music/ songs. I especially like the ones they play in Foo Hai Chan Monastery.

I admire him for his courage to embark on a research that challenges the very fabric of religiousity on which Western society is based. Hopefully, he will inspire budding scientists to take up where he left off.... especially in studying the physical process by which a personality could survive death and transfer to another body. -
