Does anyone want to add new stickied topics to the forums?
I was thinking maybe create a "all about Buddhism thread" and then we can share all the good articles we think can benefit both non-Buddhist/newcomers as well as Buddhist practitioners.

This is a very good movie.. I just watched that in my dharma center just now. Tells of the story of Bodhidharma and you can get get some great zen teachings out of it Highly recommended. -

Yah, I watched Renci last night. I am somewhat concerned that Rev Shi Ming Yi is pushing his body limits year after year. Like last night, he was in apparent pain one-third way up to the 15th level, yet he persisted and continued.
Rev Shi Ming Yi is no longer a young man. What if, heavens forbid, he were to suffer a cardiac arrest in one of his efforts? Not only will we stand to lose a great dharma teacher, but also a great leader in the charity cause.
I still think he should actively participate in the charity show, but I would rather he performs less strenuous/ hazardous activities... -

i think they shouldn't say thing like they WANT people to feel sympathy in order to want people to donate. say one time never mind, but they say too many time liao.
i think one should say things like even if Only One or a few person donate, I would still do my best to complete any task.
just like there was this master who even gave his talks even when there's only a few person came to listen. this i think, should be the spirit of buddhism.
btw, Gurmit's speech was the most excellent one, i felt.
