mcp that i came across is such as greetings to hubby when he comes home / cook meals & scoop rice / pour soup for him / & also the san1 chong2 si4 de2 no talking back, etc to name a few - by demand. well there are still such men around in this modern asian culture.

I tried to find the page in A New Earth with Eckhart Tolle's neighbour coming in to tell him her problems but eventually realising that those problems were not that bad at all, I couldn't find it.
I tried to find another page describing how complaining and fault finding are some ways that the ego strengthens itself, but I gather that you would just tell me to look in the mirror.
So I suggest you read the whole book. If you dont feel like buying it then get it from me. I have 3 of them. 1 with a friend, 1 booked by shade343 and 1 more i'll lend it to you. One of them belongs to AEN. -

You will hardly come across the type of MCPs that you've read, as most couples will be working to earn dual salaries for the family, hence you will never know who will go home first, who will cook, or will there ever be someone doing the cooking in the first place. Not talking back? most divorce case is not about one party talking back to the other, but both party not talking totally to each other.
With Women Charters, Girl power etc, I would say the 3 follow 4 virtues that you've mentioned is probably those older generations, and going to be extinct soon in Singapore. You could still find those in the 3rd world countries, or in countries like Japan and Korea where MCP is a norm. -
