I think I can say that I am free from sadness and ego problems but as for will I feel bored if I sit in a room for days and do nothing... I had not tried it but I think I will... feel bored.Originally posted by Cenarious:Oh? but are you free from all sadness and ego problems in life? will you feel bored if you sit in a room for days?
One knows by himself whether or not he is confused... just be truthful to yourself.Originally posted by longchen:Let it be reminded that any intentional act of creating confusion with respect to spiritual truth will result in negative karma.
In the end, the perpetuator will be confused either by recieving false information or get conned by people like himself/herself.
In the end, who is the loser.
Perhaps, the karma is already unfolding now... with somebody getting all confused.
Hmmm.... what makes you think I am referring to you?Originally posted by casino_king:One knows by himself whether or not he is confused... just be truthful to yourself.
I asked you to be truthful to yourself.Originally posted by longchen:Hmmm.... what makes you think I am referring to you?
U guilty?![]()
aren't you also saying it to yourself?Originally posted by casino_king:I asked you to be truthful to yourself.![]()
I have always been truthful.. but it is you who think that it is almost impossible to transcend the duality... I am so sorry for you, you have been learning in error.Originally posted by paperflower:aren't you also saying it to yourself?![]()
I am not referring to anyone in particular. I recieved this info as a transmission. As a warning so to speak.Originally posted by longchen:Let it be reminded that any intentional act of creating confusion with respect to spiritual truth will result in negative karma.

i'm surprised you know what is called truthful. how about being authentic, have you live up to it yet?Originally posted by casino_king:I have always been truthful.. but it is you who think that it is almost impossible to transcend the duality... This is what I was driving at... that there is "beyond" samsara... that you can transcend samsara...Originally posted by longchen:I am not referring to anyone in particular. I recieved this info as a transmission. As a warning so to speak.
Where these transmissions come from i dun know... perhaps it is a collective universal repository of knowledge and experiences. I often recieve them... and so far they have proven to be accurate.
Do you count radio waves as beyond samsara too?Originally posted by casino_king:This is what I was driving at... that there is "beyond" samsara... that you can transcend samsara...
This type of experience is not unique... but it comes outside of samsara.
The meaning of 'Let Go' mentioned by concerned_man is not wat u thinkOriginally posted by casino_king:I do not agree with * Let Go *
* Seek * is better.
Depends whether the radio waves are man made or "elsewhere"Originally posted by Cenarious:Do you count radio waves as beyond samsara too?
For u info radio waves like energy. Cannot be created nor destroyedOriginally posted by casino_king:Depends whether the radio waves are man made or "elsewhere"![]()

you have no choice but to start with seeking... finding is another thing altogether... finding could very well involve "giving up."Originally posted by concerned_man:To really see our inner true nature without clarity and purity, added with tonnes of human level thinking thoughts is a near-impossible task.
Sometimes stepping back, clear our thoughts is very helpful.
To seek is maybe correct, but the way of seeking it must be appropriate.

It is not easy. Sad is one who cannot let go.
If you really want to seek the true meaning of Nirvana, first of all, you have to learn how to release your attachments, especially attachment of your own perceptions, your own views, your own thinking, next is attachment to your body. I don't know whether you will classify that as to Let Go. Maybe once you could do that, the rest of the brothers like AEN and NO will be able to guide you further in your path of cultivation, IF you are truely interested in seeking the truth that you've wanted in Buddhism. No point spending precious time debating for the sake of debating, ultimately, you'll gain nothing out of it.Originally posted by casino_king:I do not agree with * Let Go *

So trueOriginally posted by concerned_man:Letting go is one of the most comforting experience I ever had. And you know what, the feeling is great!
I am just interested to know what Buddhaism says regarding what is beyond samsara... so far, no answer from BWB ... maybe other than there is nothing beyond samsara...Originally posted by path_seeker:If you really want to seek the true meaning of Nirvana, first of all, you have to learn how to release your attachments, especially attachment of your own perceptions, your own views, your own thinking, next is attachment to your body. Be humble and accept dharma teachings with an open mind. You have the wisdom, so don't misuse it.
